Le Cumberland 47 est un navire aux lignes modernes, qui offre un excellent emplacement pour l’espace de vie, en particulier l’espace intérieur. On apprécie son grand salon panoramique, mais aussi son confort de cabine, de coque ou de voyage record.
Le constructeur rochelais vient de changer de nom pour celui de sa série de catamarans à moteur et est désormais commercialisé sous la marque Fountaine-Pajot Motor Yachts. Pour commémorer ce moment, il a voulu réinventer complètement son modèle de milieu de gamme Cumberland. Cette opération a augmenté le tablier arrière du navire de 30 cm. Mais le plus important, ce sont les accessoires internes repensés et mis à jour. L’immense volume de la cabine offre trois espaces : le carré tribord, la cuisine bâbord et le cockpit avec banquettes. Dans la coque, la cabine bénéficie des nouvelles grandes ouvertures rectangulaires. La conduite se fait entièrement avec le joystick à l’intérieur, grâce au levier électro-hydraulique de la mouche géante. Stable, le 47 LC a grimpé à plus de 23 nœuds avec un arbre de 2 x 300 chevaux. La version IPS est également disponible.
